FIRE SERVICE

The Fire Service is a dynamic and challenging career. A single shift can have you at the scene of a vehicle accident with multiple patients, structure fires, numerous and varied medical calls, gas leaks, fallen wires, extinguishing a wildland fire and simply helping a member of the public with directions! To handle a day like that requires the ability to adapt, make quick decisions, have a good attitude and, to work well as a crew and with the citizens you serve.

Department specialities can vary from Hazardous Materials, Marine Units, Special Rescue Units, Airport Stations, Arson Investigators, Fire Inspectors and Dispatch.
